The Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is pleased to announce the launch of the Canadian Journal of Hospital Pharmacy’s (CJHP) new website. The CJHP’s streamlined, fresh display has many new features we are excited to share with you!

Responsive Design

The Journal’s web page adjusts to any screen size from laptop and desktop computers to smartphones and tablets.

Simple Registration

Registration is simpler than ever! Just enter your name, affiliation, and email address. This straightforward process allows you to easily select from the following options, Reader to receive publication notifications and Journal-related announcements, Reviewer to be contacted with requests to review, and Author to submit manuscripts to the CJHP. Submissions are now processed directly through the CJHP website for your convenience! Register with the Journal here.

Submission Instructions and Process

This page walks authors through the process of submitting to the Journal with a direct link to the Submission Checklist page, which has been updated to include the CJHP’s Author Guidelines and requirements for submission. Now that manuscripts can be submitted directly through the CJHP website, the submission process is smoother and more efficient.

Reviewers – please re-register

New visitors to the website can easily create an account and add reviewing interests. This menu section has been updated to include reviewer resources and guidelines on how to review manuscripts for the CJHP.

We would like to take this opportunity to ask Reviewers to renew their commitment to the CJHP’s peer review process by re-registering here. Thank you for your participation. Your assistance will help us continue to ensure the high quality of articles published in the Journal.

Editorial Discussions

Each editorial stage has a new internal discussion feature to help track communications for submission, review, copyediting, and production. Communication is a critical part of the editorial process and this new feature improves the workflow of the Journal.

New Article Features

The CJHP has great new article features that add to the readers’ experience and highlight the important work of our authors. Opportunities for further dissemination now exist using social media tools and real-time analytics. Here are some of the new features:

• Article level abstract page
• "Downloads" chart on each abstract page provides real-time analytics of the number of downloads for each article
• Social media sharing tools for each article to encourage further and immediate dissemination of authors’ research
• Top 5 “Most Read Past Month” articles to see what has captured readers’ interest over the last month
